MY FORAYS INTO THE STOCK MARKET

I just compared the YTD returns on my portfolio on Ameritrade with that of my 401K account with Ameriprise and my IRA account with Fidelity. Lo and behold, I'm actually doing MUCH better at picking stocks this year than the folks who manage the funds in my retirement accounts.

Maybe I'm better at this game than I thought? Just for the record, my portfolio consists of News Corp (NWS), Goldman Sachs (GS), Microsoft (MSFT) & Yahoo (YHOO). Stocks that I have sold this year for profit were Starbucks (SBUX), Motorola (MOT), Apple (AAPL) & Citigroup (C). Dreamworks Animation SKG (DWA) was the only stock that I sold for a loss this year.
